Elizabeth A. Garlovsky Appointed ACTEC Membership Recruitment Director for Illinois

Elizabeth A. Garlovsky has been appointed Membership Recruitment Director for the state of Illinois by the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). In this esteemed role, Elizabeth will oversee key responsibilities related to membership recruitment, including strategic planning, outreach, relationship development, and collaboration across internal and external networks. 

As a dedicated ACTEC Fellow for six years, Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience and leadership that will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and excellence of the organization.  

In addition to her involvement with ACTEC, Elizabeth is a frequent lecturer and author on a wide range of trust and estate topics. She is an active contributor and author for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, where she recently coauthored their “Revocable Grantor Trusts” 2025 Edition. She enjoys giving back to her peers by mentoring junior colleagues, both inside and outside of the firm, and is a frequent author and lecturer.
