Catherine Colombo, Chelsea Suttmann, & Aaron Hegji to Present at EPCNN Annual Event

Attorneys Catherine Colombo, Chelsea Suttmann, and Aaron Hegji will share in-depth insights at the Estate Planning Council of Northern Nevada's Annual May Event on "The Destination Jurisdiction." The session will share realistic hypotheticals while exploring additional considerations into property tax reassessment rules under Propositions 13 and 19, and community property implications, income, and wealth tax exposure for current and former residents in the state of California.

Catherine (Katie) Colombo brings two decades of specialized experience focused on the development and implementation of sophisticated estate planning and asset protection planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. She understands the complexity involved in private wealth matters and listens carefully to the needs of her clients to create a highly personalized plan, from initial conversations about goals to the implementation of creative and effective solutions.

Chelsea J. Suttmann is a Partner in the San Francisco office and has been certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law. Chelsea’s law practice focuses primarily on estate planning, trust and probate law, estate and gift taxation, and business formation, maintenance, and succession for family-owned businesses.

Aaron Hegji assists ultra-high-net-worth clients and their advisors with developing, implementing, and properly administering unique estate planning strategies. He has over 15 years of experience handling trust administration, trust planning, and tax planning matters. Aaron is an adjunct professor at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas School of Law in the area of Trusts & Estates. He is a speaker and lecturer on income tax topics that intersect with the Trusts & Estates field.
