On September 10, 2025, Harrison LLP will host its first annual Harrison Helps Day of Giving, a firmwide initiative that reflects our commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. On this day, attorneys and staff across all Harrison offices pause their regular work to participate in volunteer projects that directly support local communities.

This annual event was established to honor firm founder, Lou Harrison, whose legacy of environmental stewardship and civic responsibility continues to shape the firm’s values to this day. Harrison Helps Day of Giving is designed to unite attorneys and staff in service, reinforcing the firm’s shared commitment to meaningful local impact at a national scale.

The focus of this inaugural event is food insecurity—an urgent issue that impacted more than 47 million Americans last year. By partnering with Hunger Free America and a network of respected local organizations, Harrison employees will contribute to hunger relief efforts through hands-on volunteer work, including food distribution, meal preparation, and support for food banks.

Partner organizations include:

Atlanta Community Food Bank and Urban Recipe in Atlanta, GA

Greater Chicago Food Depository in Chicago, IL

D.C. Central Kitchen in Washington, DC

The Just One Project in Las Vegas, NV

Metro Caring in Denver, CO

Matthews House in Naples, FL

Operation Food Search in St. Louis, MO

Samaritan House in San Mateo, CA
