Catherine M. Colombo

OFFICE MANAGING PARTNER

Catherine (Katie) Colombo brings two decades of specialized experience focused on the development and implementation of sophisticated estate planning and asset protection planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. She understands the complexity involved in private wealth matters and listens carefully to the needs of her clients to create a highly personalized plan, from initial conversations about goals to the implementation of creative and effective solutions.

Katie enjoys working closely with families and their advisors to create and manage intricate estate plans designed to maximize estate tax savings while transferring wealth to the next generations in creditor protected structures. With a commitment to excellence and a nuanced understanding of estate planning complexities and sometimes complex family dynamics, Katie is dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions and peace of mind to her clients when it comes to managing their legacies.

Katie regularly works with non-Nevada counsel to review and create Nevada based estate planning and corporate documents, providing out of state clients the ability to benefit from the many strategic advantages Nevada law provides. Katie grew up in Michigan and early in her legal career realized that she wanted to focus on estate planning. After obtaining her LLM in estate planning from the University of Miami, she moved to Las Vegas Nevada to escape the mid-western winters. Prior to joining Harrison, Katie managed  her own firm for eleven years.

In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time in southern Utah hiking with her rescue pups, Archie and Mavis, and volunteering at Best Friends Animal Society in Utah.
