Harrison LLP is pleased to announce that partner Tiffany McKenzie has been accepted to join the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) as a Fellow.
McKenzie’s practice focuses on estate planning and administration, family wealth transfer tax planning, succession planning, and fiduciary litigation. In addition to representing clients with their pre-death estate planning and wealth preservation, she also helps clients advance their charitable intentions by creating charitable trusts and foundations.
She joins 12 other attorneys from Harrison LLP who have previously received the distinguished recognition of being named an ACTEC Fellow.
ACTEC is a professional association of lawyers and law professors who are skilled and experienced in the preparation of wills and trusts, estate planning, and probate procedure and administration. To qualify as a Fellow with ACTEC, a lawyer must have at least ten years of experience in trust and estate law, either as an active practitioner, a teacher at a duly accredited law school or as fiduciary counsel with a fiduciary services company.
As stated in an ACTEC press release, “Lawyers and law professors are elected to be Fellows based on their outstanding reputation, exceptional skill and substantial contributions to the field by lecturing, writing, teaching, and participating in bar leadership or legislative activities.”
