As the Managing Partner of Harrison LLP, Matthew J. Madsen leads a national law firm that exclusively focuses on assisting clients in defining and achieving their private wealth goals. Matt provides strategic direction to the firm and oversees its expanding national presence.  The firm presently has over 110 attorneys in 12 markets, among them Atlanta, Boulder, Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Naples, St. Louis, and Washington D.C., and boasts 15 Fellows of the esteemed American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). 

In addition to his leadership duties, Matt remains deeply engaged in client service, drawing on more than 25 years of experience to provide sophisticated and practical legal advice to his clients.  Guided by a dedication to his clients, Matt prioritizes building trusted, long-term relationships and making complex estate and charitable planning concepts simple.

Matt is a Fellow with ACTEC and has been named among The Best Lawyers in America® since 2008. Matt has been ranked in Chambers High Net Worth Guide for Private Wealth Law – Missouri for the last seven years. He is also a frequent speaker and author, publishing several articles on estate planning and charitable giving. With a thoughtful and straightforward approach, Matt brings both expertise and warmth to client interactions.  He contributes to the community in several areas and presently serves as the outside General Counsel of the St. Louis Community Foundation.
