Meredith advises individuals and families in all aspects of private wealth planning, including estate planning, estate and gift taxation, asset protection planning, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, business succession planning, and estate and trust administration. She holds an LL.M. in Taxation (Dean’s List, with distinction) from Georgetown University Law Center, a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law (with honors), and an M.B.A. and B.B.A. (Finance) from Loyola University in Maryland. She has been recognized as AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, the highest rating available after evaluation of a lawyer by other members of the bar and judiciary. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers, and is a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation and the American Bar Foundation. She has been awarded the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) designation and serves as a Director of the Estate Planning Council of Naples.
Meredith actively practices in both Maryland and Florida, with a particular focus on clients who are present in both jurisdictions or require counsel regarding residency and tax planning issues. She routinely represents business owners, corporate executives, physicians, and financial professionals, and has a particular expertise in the business and real estate aspects of estate planning.
In the community, Meredith is a member of the Professional Advisors Council for the Collier Community Foundation, the Planned Giving Advisory Council for Catholic Charities of Baltimore, and is a volunteer for the Shadow Wood Charitable Foundation and Operation Healing Forces.
