Michael Head advises clients on divorce, custody, support, and other family law matters involving complex personal and financial considerations. He works with individuals and families facing significant life transitions, including matters involving closely held businesses, executive compensation, substantial assets, and high-conflict custody disputes.
Michael provides strategic, practical counsel tailored to each client’s circumstances, helping them navigate sensitive legal issues while protecting their personal, financial, and family interests. Clients appreciate his thoughtful approach, attention to detail, and ability to explain complex legal and financial concepts in a clear and approachable manner.
Drawing on experience representing business owners, executives, and other high-net-worth individuals, Michael helps clients address the challenges that often accompany sophisticated family law matters, including valuation issues, support disputes, and post-divorce enforcement and modification proceedings.
Michael earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he attended on a full scholarship. During law school, he served as a Dean’s Ambassador, worked as a teaching assistant for undergraduate law courses, and received the CALI Excellence Award in Georgia Family Law. He earned his B.A. degrees in History and Religion, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia.
When he is not advising clients, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Annie, hiking, golfing, and supporting Atlanta United.
