Kevin Salzstein has extensive knowledge and experience counseling high-net-worth clients through a wide range of matrimonial and family law matters, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, contested and uncontested divorces, and post-decree disputes. He regularly and successfully negotiates and litigates issues relating to spousal maintenance (formerly alimony) and child support, property distribution and dissipation of marital assets, the allocation of parenting time (visitation) and parenting responsibilities (decision-making), order modification, and other issues arising after the entry of a judgment for dissolution of marriage. Kevin’s practice also encompasses representing charitable beneficiaries, individual trustees, and addressing various fiduciary disputes and controversies.
As a dedicated and passionate attorney, Kevin strives to understand his clients’ needs and concerns to develop a comprehensive and proactive approach to their legal issues. He works tirelessly to earn his clients’ trust and is committed to achieving short and long-term success for them; doing so, even in the most challenging cases, is one of the most rewarding aspects of his career.
While in law school, Kevin was uniquely recognized and selected by the law school faculty to teach a mock trial course to underprivileged, inner-city high school students. Additionally, he was a key member of the university club tennis team, qualifying for the year-end national championship tournament, all the while founding and operating a talent management agency, representing musical artists worldwide. Drawing upon the principles learned through these diverse experiences, such as patience and caring, competitiveness and hard work, and expectation management, Kevin is an effective advocate who fights for, and delivers, favorable results for his clients.
Kevin was named Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America (2024), a Super Lawyers® Rising Star (2022 – present), and a Leading Lawyers℠ Emerging Lawyer (2021 – present).
