Brad Gerber advises clients in commercial real estate matters, including transactions and contracts related to development, financing, construction, and leasing. He often represents clients in the acquisition, construction, development, sale, and leasing of commercial, industrial, retail, office, and mixed-use real estate projects in Chicago and nationwide. Brad advocates for clients in complex lease preparation and negotiations, including a large wholesale distribution company with over 1,000 locations nationally.
Brad adds significant value to the economics of a transaction, and clients are often drawn to Brad for his business experience.
His experience structuring complex real estate transactions and negotiating construction contracts on projects of all sizes has earned him a reputation for being a dealmaker. Brad also represents some of Chicago’s more notable non-profit companies and private foundations, advising on their real estate portfolios.
On the lending side, Brad represents several Chicago banks in loan transactions, including acquisition, construction, and development loans; asset-secured and real property financing; and workouts of financially distressed loans.
In his free time, Brad sits on the Midwest Advisory Board for the Simon Wiesenthal Center-Museum of Tolerance. He also sits on the Board of Directors and is the current Treasurer of Bryn Mawr Country Club.
