With more than 30 years of experience assisting clients with their estate planning (including life insurance and charitable planning), business succession and estate and trust administration, Laura has been recognized numerous times as a Top Estate Attorney in the Washingtonian magazine. Laura uses her extensive knowledge of estate and gift taxes together with her effective communication skills and personable demeanor to provide clients with an understandable, efficient and comfortable experience. Each estate plan is crafted to meet the individual needs of the client while minimizing estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes.

Laura has a particular passion for assisting clients entering new phases of their lives, whether due to marriage, divorce or death of a loved one. In addition, she enjoys working with multi-generational families to coordinate their estate plans, protect assets and counsel younger generations about the responsibility of inheriting wealth.
