Trevor Thornton is an associate in the St. Louis office of Harrison LLP. He advises clients on a range of private wealth planning services from trust and estate administration to charitable giving and business succession. Trevor is a recent magna cum laude graduate of St. Louis University School of Law where he received the Excellence Award in Wealth Transfer Taxation. He recently clerked for Husch Blackwell and Mathis, Marifian & Richter, gaining extensive experience drafting estate planning documents for high-net-worth families and individuals. Trevor has also prepared transactional documents such as purchase and sale agreements, merger and acquisition documents, and property deeds. 

Trevor is committed to providing peace of mind for his clients when it comes to planning for their future. He listens intently to their needs and individual situations, walking them through the process and creating thorough and effective solutions to navigate the identified challenges with both comfort and confidence.

As a former financial planner, Trevor is passionate about problem-solving and analysis and uses this background when guiding clients on how to protect assets for today and for future generations. During his time at Northwestern Mutual, he advised clients on investments, insurance, taxes, estate planning, college savings, and retirement. Trevor also obtained his Series 6 and 63 Investment Licenses and Life and Health Insurance License to further his expertise.

Outside of the office, Trevor is on the Young Professionals Board at the Joshua Chamberlain Society, an organization providing long-term support to veterans who have sustained permanent combat injuries. He has also contributed to fundraising efforts and community outreach with Alex’s Lemonade Stand, which supports pediatric cancer research. Beyond his volunteer work, Trevor enjoys playing both hockey and golf.
